The staff at reception were incredibly helpful and spoke English, which was a relief for someone like me who isn't fluent in Spanish. The hotel's prime location meant I was just a short distance away from all the attractions I wanted to visit. The communal spaces, such as the outdoor garden and kitchen, were a wonderful addition to my stay. I particularly appreciated the reading lights and charging stations with small shelves at each bunk. The mix of old stone walls and new construction gave the hostel a unique and charming ambiance. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

During our stay, we were impressed by the helpfulness of the staff at Santiago Km-0. They went above and beyond, even remembering our names and allowing us to store our bags before check-in. The convenience of the location, just a few doors down from the pilgrim office and right off the Cathedral Plaza, made exploring the city incredibly easy. The beautiful quiet garden at the back of the hostel provided a peaceful retreat. The beds were comfortable and came with lockers for our belongings. The lady at the reception desk was amazing, providing us with valuable information and even helping us book a hair salon appointment. The large safes in each room were spacious enough to fit our backpacks and shoes. I would highly recommend this hostel for its great location, helpful staff, and comfortable amenities.

The location of the hotel is incredible, with easy access to bus and train stations, allowing for convenient transportation. the rooms are well-designed, providing great privacy with double beds and windows that offer a pleasant view. the staff, particularly Lola and another gentleman, were happy, positive, and always ready to assist guests.
There were a few instances where one of the female employees had a bad mood and an unpleasant attitude. Thankfully, this was not reflective of the overall service provided by the majority of the staff members.

My stay at Santiago Km-0 was exceptional. The location was unmatched, just steps away from the main Santiago cathedral square and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and bars. The value for money was unbeatable, with a bed in a four bunkbed room costing only €20 a night. I particularly enjoyed the peacefulness of the hostel, as it offered a quiet back garden with stunning sunset views, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful and always available, going above and beyond to assist with any questions or requests. The hostel was clean, tidy, and had secure lockers in each room. Additionally, the communal area was comfortable and well-equipped with a kitchen. I highly recommend staying at Santiago Km-0 for its unbeatable location, excellent value, and friendly staff.

Great location, close to restaurants and tourist attractions. the 4-bed female dorm was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities, including lockers for added security.
The cleanliness of the showers and common areas was not up to par, with dirty shower rooms and unclean disabled shower seats. there were odd individuals lingering around the hostel, which made me feel uncomfortable and prompted me to leave without having breakfast.
